Optimizing freshwater withdrawal reduction to save the planet
RLU has implemented a wastewater treatment plant in MKC factory using activated sludge technology in its crumb rubber production.
The system ensures that the treated water meets environmental standards before being safely recycled or discharged.
This method plays a vital role in minimizing environmental impact while supporting the planet and prevent water drought.
Elevating local livelihoods
CPP is essential to RLU’s social management and reflects our commitment to the 3P sustainability framework, focusing on People. The program engages communities within and around our operations through strategic partnerships.
By integrating farmers into our supply chain, RLU enhances their livelihoods. We also provide training and implement the Rubber Replanting Program to increase land productivity and promote sustainable rubber cultivation.
