Optimizing Freshwater Withdrawal Reduction To Save The Planet
RLU has implemented a wastewater treatment plant in MKC factory using activated sludge technology in its crumb rubber production.
The system ensures that the treated water meets environmental standards before being safely recycled or discharged.
This method plays a vital role in minimizing environmental impact while supporting the planet and prevent water drought.
Elevating Local Livelihoods
Through the Community Partnership Program (CPP), RLU builds respectful relationships and contributes to the development of local livelihoods within its concession areas by engaging local communities in various empowerment and strategic partnership initiatives. By integrating smallholder farmers into its supply chain, RLU helps improve their livelihoods. The company provides training and implements a Rubber Replanting Program to enhance land productivity and promote sustainable rubber cultivation.
